Activision lost my F'ing Wii Guitar Hero III disc in the mai!!!

That's right. I sent my disc in to be replaced figuring that they F'd up in the first place with th audio output. Today I get a card in the mail saying they received an empty envelope!!!

I send them an email telling them I am 100% sure I sent it in and even gave them a picture of the game box, disc case, guitar and original receipt...

They reply back with "are you sure you didn't lose the disc?"

What in the fuck is going on here?!!!

No matter what I say they accuse me of losing it.

I am about ready to blow my fucking top!

The whole situation sucks. You can't prove they lost it, and they can't prove you did either. If it's any persons fault it's with who ever you shipped it with.

Call up their customer service hotline. This is their fault. If they hadn't screwed up in the first place, you would never have had to send your disc in. The fact that it was lost in the mail should not be your responsibility.

Wait, you mailed the disc back ....in an envelope? Chances are it got ripped out in one of the sorting machines...something similar happened when someone mailed me a PS2 memory card in an envelope instead of shelling out a few cents more for a proper shipping container. I would up sending him back one of my memory cards because I didn't want to be accused of ripping him off.

that was the last time I offered to hook up someone's PS2 memory card for them.

Did you ensure the package against loss or damage? The mailing system isn't perfect but insureance should always be bought..... just like car insureance just incase some dumb*** decides talking on the cell phone is more important than driving.

By envelope he means the cardboard one they sent out to send the disc back in. I have my return kit, but refuse to send my copy in. Been trying to find a 2nd copy cheap to do it.
