I was just sitting here wondering, were any games released across all for last gen platforms. There are a few that made it from DC to one or another console, but did any games have a release on all 4??
Sorry bout the crap thread title, I cant think of a better way to ask the question.

Without checking, I would assume maybe some of the sports titles.

Crazy Taxi was my first thought...but it wasn't released on Xbox...they only got Crazy Taxi 3. I'd still bet it was something Sega...

I also looked into sports a bit...

No EA games on DC...and I looked at NFL 2k2...and it wasn't released on Cube...I think...

I was thinking one of the RE games, but I'm not sure if any of them made it to Xbox.

The closest ones I can think of are Hydro Thunder and San Francisco Rush 2049 - the DC versions of those games are on Midway Arcade Treasures 3, available on the PS2, Xbox, and Gamecube.

EDIT: NBA 2K2 was available for all four systems. However, there was no Gamecube version of NFL 2K2.

Namco Museum had a Dreamcast and N64 version. It was released for the XBOX, GC, and PS2 later on with a few games added to it. I don't think that is really what you are talking about though. Off the top of my head I can't think of any solo titles that made their way around all of the consoles. Maybe something like a licensed title. I know that in Japan there are some that did it. Castle of Shikigami 2 being one of them but I think that was only released on the PS2 in the USA. Anyway, I'm no XBOX expert so someone should check me on this but I'm pretty sure that, in the context of what I understand your question to be, the only title that crossed all four platforms is NBA2K2, like DigitalSpace mentioned.

EDIT:

I was thinking one of the RE games, but I'm not sure if any of them made it to Xbox.

Code Veronica X made it to all but the XBOX. Resident Evil 3 Nemesis almost did the same but it went to the PS1, Dreamcast, and Gamecube but not the PS2 or XBOX.

Capcom vs SNK 2 is one.

Capcom vs SNK 2 is one.

You could say that. I guess I'm thinking too literally because I thought the pro version on DC made it a different game.

That may be all there is, the only other one I thought might have been was 18 Wheeler American Pro Trucker but as far as I can tell that one was never released on xbox

If you turn the C in PC into a S2, then Phantasy Star Online qualifies.

So close!

PS2 got Universe, however.

Shikigami no Shiro II is CLOSE!

Xbox got the first Shikigami no Shiro game but not the sequal and 360 has the 3rd game…
Every other console had Shikigami no Shiro II

Shikigami no Shiro:
Arcade
Xbox
PlayStation 2

Shikigami no Shiro II:
Arcade
Dreamcast
PlayStation 2
Gamecube

Shikigami no Shiro III:
Arcade
Xbox 360

SNK released several KOF games on the DC, PS2 and XBox, but not on the Gamecube.

Add Halo and Super Mario bros. 3 to the list of games that didn't cross all four. ;-)

Dreamcast didn't get Dark Legacy, it got Legends.

So far I only know two - NBA 2k2 & Capcom vs SNK 2. Marvel vs Capcom 2 was close. It was released for DC, Xbox & PS2.

Yeah, those are the only 2 I can think of as well.

Puyo Puyo Fever was released for a total of 14 different platforms, including all 4 of those consoles.

In the US? I don't think so.
I just realized that the OP is from Australia...and I don't know anything about their releases. Valhalla, what region are you asking about?

Donald Duck: Goin Quackers was on the DC, GC, and PS2, but not the XBOX. Same thing with RE: Code Veronica.

Of course not in the US. Since when did this topic have anything to do with region?

capcom vs snk 2 is not the same as the lame EO release.

however, if you decide to count it, then gauntlet legends/dark legacy are nearly indistinguishable games

Well it has already been mentioned a couple of times but I can verify NBA 2K2 came out for all four of those systems because I happen to own all four versions :embarrassed:

Mighty fun game, though! If you like b-ball games, that is.

I'm not phased about any region, was just interested if any games made it too all four. Didn't think there would be many though, couldn't think of any myself.

About Gauntlet Legends, the DC version did have extra stuff not found in the N64 or PSX versions (from what I remember). Was this the extra stuff the same stuff as found in Dark Legacy? Maybe the name was just changed for marketing purposes, and not to appear as a port of a last gen game?
