So Cal Swap Meet Find Yesterday

Scored a sweet Vectrex system at a local So Cal Swap meet yesterday for $20. It's the third one in about 10 years that I have come across in the wild. No games though. It needed a good cleaning (with a Mr. Clean Eraser) and it looks good as new. I have sold all my previous ones and always regret doing it. I am KEEPING THIS ONE :)

It's also ironic that I just got a great deal on a Sean Kelly multicart from a fellow ChaseTheChuckwagon member and it arrived a couple days ago. Now I have something to play it on. Life is Good :)

Also, scored a few Jag carts includin Alien Vs. Pred for $3 each and also a nice Intellivision II system which will be given away on ChasingTheChuckwagon.com's April Episode.

Dude, where have you been? So Cal Swaps are freaking unbelieveable!! Check my Monumental Discoveries section on http://www.chasingthechuckwagon.com to see what I mean. And that is just the "real good" stuff.

There is not a weekend gone by that I don't find great classic gaming items. The OC Swaps are the key !! And it helps to have a trained eye for spotting this stuff.

For example, this weekend I also found a DVD "Once Upon An Atari" which was buried in a pile of stuff. Somehow the word Atari stuck out and I spotted it. It's amazing how many times this happens. And I am not a "digger". If its not in plain site, than I don't bother :)

Goldenwest College in Huntington Beach and Cypress College in Cypress, CA. Both in Orange County.

I found some crazy stuff in San Fernando, LA City College, and Saugus Swaps. Much better than the OC ones IMO.
