I know there are many of these floating around, but I'd still like to get this dumped. Flack was kind enough to try and do it for me, but after a long time working on it he still wasn't able to back it up using his normal backup device. Does anyone have an idea on why this may not have worked? It boots up fine, but I haven't played more than a couple minutes.

It's an oversize Genesis PCB with 6 socketed eproms on it, and a few other chips. Would there be any way for me to read each eprom with an eprom programmer and assemble all of the eprom binaries to make a ROM suitable for an emulator?

Yeah.

You can read the EPROMs with any eprom programmer there is. I have programs that I've written to combine these ROMs (some are scrambled), when I was combining EPROMs from a lot that I had.

If you want, I could point you towards an eprom dumper and/or send the programs your way.

BTW, I've recently released quite a number of Vectorman (1 and 2) prototypes, if you're interested.

Yeah, I caught those you released a while back. The eproms on my proto aren't dated, so I'm not sure if it is identical to any of the ones you have. I figured that I might as well make a rom out of it and release it for preservation, even if it will never really get used.

I can manage to dump the eprom contents myself, could you help me get the data assembled?

Sure thing, just let my know via PM or something.
