So the latest installation fo Zoo Logic at http://grblitz.overclocked.org/ features a mightily worried Sonic and Tails, and a headstone in the background marked SNK.

Shouldn't there at least be a hand clawing its way up out of the ground (http://www.gamedaily.com/xtras/snk/) by the tombstone?

Wow, people actually read my comic!
Yeah, I suppose I should have made some indication that SNK was rising from its grave. I wanted to put a couple of recently deceased game companies on the tombstones in that graveyard, and SNK and Technos were the only ones that came to mind. I desperately wanted to include Acclaim, but technically (and quite unfortunately), they haven't kicked the bucket just yet. Now that I think about it, though, it still could have been pretty funny if I had put "this space for rent" as Acclaim's epitaph. If you'll recall, Acclaim claimed that they were putting advertisements on tombstones to promote their game Shadowman 2.

Well, I think that Compile, Toaplan, Psikyo, and Technosoft have also given up the ghost. Or were Technos and Technosoft the same thing?

They're different companies. I think.

Technos: Double Dragon, Super Dodge Ball, River City Ransom, and the other Kunio/Nekketsu games.

Technosoft: the Thunder Force series, Reverthion, Elemental Master, and that one PSX launch game called "Hot-Blooded Family" or something.

And why is Sonic trying to strangle Tails? I felt like doing the same thing many times during Sonic Adventure, but Sonic's supposed to be Miles' friend, isn't he?

Bleh. That hand should have been on his shoulder or back. I apologize for the crappy artwork.
