Found on Craigslist. Condition is said to be "great" and it comes with Mario 3, Ninja Turtles 2, Dr Mario, Tecmo Bowl, and Mike Tyson's Punchout. He's asking $550. Any idea what these usually go for. To me that sounds about right; not a steal but a good price nonetheless.

That's certainly WAY more than I'd pay for one...

Additionally...its a Playchoice Cabinet...its EXACTLy the same games you probably already have on NES.

Playchoice cabinets are one of those things that are all over the board. Really it boils down to if it's worth it to you. I know lots of "arcade" guys who don't like them because (as mentioned above) the games are watered-down NES versions of other arcade games. On the other hand, those who grew up playing them or are looking for one cabinet with interchangable games (see also: MVS, Capcom, etc.) seem to enjoy these.

I don't know if this is indicitive of the going rate or not but the last two I saw at auctions went for between $200-$300. The one posted above looks to be in pretty good cosmetic condition so I'm guessing it would sell for $300+. Whether you want to go $550 just depends on how much you want one and how much you like those particular games. A quick eBay check looks like Playchoice games are selling for $20 or so with shipping.

Awesome, thanks for the info. I guess I'll hold off. If he drops the price dramatically I might have to check it out, but right now it's a bit steep for me.
