Where can I find a DVD drive to replace the DRE one...

Those unit's do not have 'drives' but they do have lasers. 4 different types, so you need to know what in there, and get another one of those.
And this is assuming it's your laser that has failed. And not the transport. Or the gear. Or the door sensor. All of those will give disc read issues.
