Maybe I'm thinking something different than you, but my first thought is "what a craptacular lot of games."
I'm suprized they went that high. Those are gonna be hard to unload.

Me too, those are games that I pass up at fleas when they're $1 each and I don't even have them.

Yeah, no kidding.. what a load of crud. $76 is too high already.

Woot good thing im looking for 65 copys of madden 93 and 43 copies of NHL 94.
Thats a real good load of CRAP, what would anyone want with all that?
And it must be a real retard buying it if he cant pick it up by himself, wouldnt want to touch the shipping price.

Even with shipping, that still amounts to $0.30 each. An OK price but I'd prefer to get those for free only.

if they are brand spanking, i wouldn't mind picking some up for only the thought of changing out my shitty boxes.

Wonder why so many sports games? They must have all been obtained from a store that had them for sale back in the day. If the collection was more balanced, that would be a steal.

oh god, i can just see someone bringing this into the store a working at. my most hated conversation ever (happens at least once a week)
customer - you take trade
me - yes we do
customer - ok let me go get it
me - sure thing
customer - its alot
me - of what
customer - oh some genesis games and maybe a few nintendo games
it usually ends up being 200 genny sports games, 100 copies of SMB, and some games that have ripped labels and smell like well not good

Geez, I wouldn't even take that lot for free considering the $75 shipping fee attached to it.

Ditto.
If someone offered that lot to me for $75, I'd counter offer this:
"Tell you what, I'll take the whole lot for free, and as an added bonus, I won't charge you anything to haul them away."
I don't like sports games much, and after sifting through that mess, good luck getting rid of the dupes, at least for any coin. You might be able to give them away, or like this seller, Ebay 'em.

A thought just occurred to me. If someone were making a homebrew genny game this lot would kick ass.

Better yet, how much will genny cases cost in the future!? NES black plastic prices are always going up!

That's an awfully ticky tack item to speculate on... you'd NEVER get your money back on that one.

The only thing I would do with this lot is take the batteries out of the games and use them as replacements in better games. Also I could build ALOT of furniture out of those games. Computer desk, coffee table, lamp, bookcase.
I'm building a coffee table out of my mario/duck hunt carts this summer. I have 150 carts and need about 100 more.
But thats still too much to pay for all those games.

Most people seem to agree the Genesis had better sports games then the SNES ones. I would'nt know myself, as I've always played sports games on the computer (still do to this day, including all the EA sports games) but I guess this is still WAY too many copies. :)

If you owned a used game store you could sell these for $1.00 each and get rid of most of them by the end of the year.. that would be at least a $300 profit

Who the hell buys 10 year old Madden games from game stores? I think a game store would end up making furnature as well.

Come to think of it, I bet 500 Empty cases would get MORE money on ebay than those 500 sports games.

I own a gamestore and MAYBEE we could sell 2 of those carts at 25 cents each
The NBA Jams
Everything else forget it.
If he gets decent money I may make a lot of these up to sell as well.
I also thought about the Sega homebrew deal.
Can anyone turn a Sega sports carts into an unreleased Sega game worth playing?

Actually somebody with a car parts store or something could clean up on this auction. The batteries in alot of those old EA sega sports games fit in those little keychain things for your car you set the alarm and unlock the doors with.
