I've seen some mentioned here before but I can't find the post, what's the best site to organize your collection with and link to others?
Something along the lines of DVDSpot, but for videogames.
Thanks

The most common two I see bandied about are IGN (loads slow if you have a lot of games) and RFGeneration (not as pretty, but loads faster).

RF Generation is always my recommendation. Is that the one you're having problems with? If so, feel free to message me on AIM and I can walk you through it.

Now that its working, I'm pretty pleased with it.
They do seem to be missing a healthy chunk of stuff though. It seems to mostly only have major PC releases, and a lot of console stuff is missing like a US release of TOCA Race Driver 3 for the PS2 and NASCAR 2006: Total Team Control for the Xbox (Two that I can recall). And the Virtual Console and XBLA list are really incomplete. Guess I'll start working at adding whats missing as soon as I finish cataloging everything.
I use IGN and have no problems with it.
With my collection of over 1400 games, it was easy to catalog mine at http://www.vgrebirth.com/ They take submisions as well.

I've been kind of hoping Open Game Lister would get a nice update, but considering the project never really attracted any other developers and the guy writing it took down the site...I'd say there's not much chance of any future updates :( For shame, too... I really liked it.
If you're bored, the link to my collection is in the ol' sig block. I went with it because it catalogs all of the information I care about and presents it in a way that I like. Your mileage may vary (and if you do want to use it, you'll need to learn the basics of creating a MySQL database and whatnot)

I use RFG. I tried IGN at first but the biggest problems with IGN are their lack of imports, their poor navigation of games (i've yet to figure out if it's even posible to just sort thru system), and the inability to get stuff listed in the region I need a game in. IGN has the potential to be great though. You can list your CD collection and your DVD collection in adition to your games. Problem is, those lists are mostly incomplete as well and just like the games, hard to get stuff added.
RFG isnt perfect but that's one of the charms that I realy liked about it. They are missing stuff but the staff of RFG try hard to get what ever they are missing added. Be it thru member submissions or staff, they generaly try to get it added in less then 24 hrs.
I've had no exp with vgrebirth so I cant say how well they are or are not.

DVD Spot is a great website. I tried to register for RF Generation, but never received the activation email.

IGN. But I agree it could be better.

Got my first game added overnight, I'm impressed how quick it was. I had Ocarina of Time added to the Virtual Console list.
It will be a bit of work, but looks like it will be easy to fill the wholes in their database to finish putting up my collection.

Another vote for RFG. The site really is awesome, and spend some time in the forums too, please.

Downloadable games like the VC and XBLA are a fairly recent addition to the database, hence the incompleteness of them. But as long as people keep submitting new games, it will be as complete as it can be in time.

Thanks for the tip on RFGeneration.com! I just posted most of my collection there, and it's nice and quick! WAAAAAAAAAAy faster than IGN!
