I live frighteningly close to an honest-to-God arcade. The sad thing is, I've never been inside the place. Has anyone been there? Is it worth going? The (1997-esque) website (http://www.tornadoterrys.com/) makes it sound like a pretty decent place. I have driven by it randomly before, so I know it's easy to get to.
Anyone?

If you are lucky enough to live near an arcade, you should definately stop in and check it out. Let us know...

I live about 15 minutes from there, over in Watauga, but I've only been there once, about 5 years ago. They had a nice mix of arcade classics and modern cabinets, plus some pool tables. You pay one price (don't remember how much) to get in, and everything is set on free play. I had a great time. Not sure why I haven't been back--just busy, I guess, plus lots of console gaming to do. I would definitely recommend it.

Good God, my best friend lives in Keller. I don't like going up there because my company's main office is there, and the closer I get the more I can sense the evil. :devilish:
I've got to get up there sometime. Actually, my brother lives in Hurst, so I'm going to drag him in there. He'll love that.
Anyone have a problem looking at their map page? "Large map" is accurate... the letters on the page are rendered in Firefox so large that I can only fit three letters of the directions on my screen. Think I'll use Google Maps instead.

I see what you're talking about. The directions farther down the page are probably legit as would anything you got from google maps. The road it is off of has an entrance to a large mega-neighborhood, but other than that, can seem like sort of a backroad. It's not a traditional arcade location, that's for sure, but if it works, I'm cool with it.
Let me know if you go and how it is. I need to force someone to go with me as well.

Wow. Coincidentally, I just ordered a handful of buttons for a MAME cab from them just yesterday. Small world, eh?
