I'm sure that controller is just like any other DDR conrol pad - boring. :-D
And this was the best I could do for Goo Goo Soundy: http://www.gamasutra.com/newswire/mgt_report/19990820.htm
There's a little snippet down the page.

Goo Goo Soundy is a cool novelty item, but if you can do Standard songs in DDR, forget it.
And hopefully we'll have our own forum soon so we don't need 1 thread for all the music questions. ^_^

I'd like to hear "Groove is in the Heart" in a music game...
But, seriously, what the hell happened to her? I haven't heard anything from Dee-Lite since the mid 90's...

Dude... If any singer is suing over similarities to Ulala, I want her phone number. :-D

The singer in dee-lite is an ugly skank compared to Ulala. She's just pissy because she only had one hit.

Okay. Forget it then. ;-)
As for DDR 2nd and 2nd Link, I think the Link Version supports memory cards, and Internet Ranking. I played one once, and that sounds familiar. However, it doesn't link to IIDX Substream. There's a different 2nd Mix that does it, and I've never seen it in action.
