Mario Kart unique loading screen

Hi... a little introduction, I have started collecting NES/SNES/N64 games since this past january. So yes I am a noob and this might be a noob question but i was curious all the same.

I have boughten my fair share of Mario Kart 64 cartridges. I have noticed that the loading screen's so far have all been the same, except for one I just came across. Opposed to the usual green scenery, it depicts the crew in a deserty landscape. Just wondering if there was anything to do this?

If I remember correctly it is just a different title screen that comes on when you have beaten all the cups at 150cc (i think)

Get gold on all three cups on all difficulties to open the new title screen. Should unlock mirror tracks, too.
