Video Game Trader Magazine & Price Guide is asking for help.

Our aim is to provide great content and the most accurate price guide in the industry... updated monthly!

However, this is a very large task.

We would like to ask for help from the collecting community. We are looking for individuals to "take ownership" of individual video game platforms in the price guide. You would be responsible for providing all updates to the platforms of your choosing.

If you are interested, please send us a "private" message or send email to vgtnj@SPAM.aol.com (remove the SPAM. from the email address). Please let us know what platform you wish to maintain and WHY we should allow you to do so. We are looking for experts... not casual collectors.

We are looking for help with the following platforms:

NES, GENESIS, PLAYSTATION, GAME BOY CLASSIC, GAME BOY COLOR

We would like to thank you in advance for helping out.

Sincerly,

- Staff, Video Game Trader

NTSC only, or other countries like PAL, J-NTSC as well?

For now, NTSC only. But I would consider imports in the future.

That's pretty time consuming to keep up on those systems...

Why not use videogamepricecharts.com. They track eBay prices. That is a pretty good gauge of value, no?

This is an interesting site, but it limited. They don't differentiate from boxed and loose games and they only list ONLINE values. Our guide tried to provide an general value of what you could expect to pay for the game either online, or at your local store.

Local stores will often vary if uninformed. Otherwise they'll usually follow online trends.
