According to ESRB.org only about 20 or so exist. I think it would be interesting to see if anyone had this under their belt...

I have some basic demo disks from PC magazines I bought back in the 90's, I think I've got a Lula game demo & a Leisure Suit Larry demo. I'm sure there are more out there thinking about things like Custer's Revenge etc. on the Atari.
It's a bracket that has produced few games of any quality (well, probably, looking at that list) so I doubt collectors are going to purse the games within this genre, with any type of vigour at least. Saying that, due to the scarcity & lol factor of the Atari 2600 "adult" titles & the consoles awesomeness, I'm sure one or two have tried to procure all of these titles for this console.

I'd like to collect some of the PC-98/PC8801 H Adventure/RPG games. I wouldn't be able to play them, but the boxes are cool. :D

I own a couple non console AO games. All for PC and I can play them. I believe I have like 3-5 not really that great I mean anime porn isn't that appealing especially when most of it is static 2D.

they all have AO on them, does that count?
Grand Theft Auto for PSX is 18 (Adult) rated in the UK:

Does the original pressing of the PS2 version of GTA San Andreas count? It was re-rated AO after the Hot Coffee scandal.

Except for GTA as specified above, are there any console AO games?
I woudn't be interested in PC stuff but it might be fun to collect console games.
Weren't there a couple of AO games for the Saturn in Asia?

By one definition of "collect," I suppose so, yes - whenever you buy a lot of ol' Japanese computer games, there's probably some H-Games in there. Icky :P
So yes, I have collected some via accretion. It's not a genre I actively search out though.

I have Super Real Mahjong Graffiti (Plus official artbook of PIV which does have nudity), SRM PVI, Tenchi Muyo Gokuraku CD-Rom (Red-Label only because of Nude Ryoko?), and Virtua Photo Studio for Sega Saturn.
I did own Neurodancer and Mind Teazzer for the 3D0 at one time (and that Yak-something Special Strip Janken game for Saturn), but never got a chance to try them out. What I've heard about them, that may be a good thing.

Got several SS/DC/PC Games ;)
that's got nothing to do with the ESRB tho.

As for the console games, two questions:
1) I'm assuming they're region locked - true?
2) Is there a list of titles? I get a kick out of things like this. It's the only reason I own that horrible BMX XXX for the gamecube ;)

I collect the Suchie Pai games, some of those get red labels.
As far as US released AO collecitng goes, I'd like to sometime, but most (not all, however) of the games are barely games at all. Many are interactive porn, one is somehow rated AO only for online gambling. If I could find them cheap, I'd gladly pick them up.
Larry and maybe the Lula games are probably the most playable. Larry is actually fairly underrated in my opinon (sure, it's not an old larry game, but it's like the videogame equivalent of a college movie), and I believe at least one of the Lulas is an adventure/business sim sort of thing. There's also that Days of Oblivion I think it was called, FMV porny visual novel adventure game.

Larry only got an AO rating for the PC "uncut" release right?
Let's see. I have Leisure Suit Larry and a bunch of hentai dating sims for the PC. For the PSX, I have the unreleased full version of Thrill Kill, which likely would've been AO had it not gotten canned for its content. Lastly, for the PS2 I have the "Hot Coffee" version of GTA:SA that was re-rated AO and pulled from the shelves. I don't go out of my way to collect AO games, though.
Lula in UK is 18 rated, same game in Germany is 16 rated, after all it's only T&A:

i think i remember when AO rating came out it was supposed to be a common thing and Duke Nukem 3d was supposed to be the first AO game and many to come. Maybe it was in Gamefan or EGM that said something of this..

I believe so, yes, and I also am pretty sure it's download only. I don't think there is an AO box you can buy, but perhaps they sell one online.

if you are asking about AO games, would you just be refering to the ESRB in the US, or any region game that is rated for 18+? I'd believe if its UK or Japan, they may be a bit more common for consoles, but AO rated games in the US don't really see a whole lot of light on consoles here.
