5th airball proto!?!?

Hi guys. A couple of days ago I was with my friend and i was looking online, and I was looking for more info on the unreleased Tengen game, Airball. Another one of my friends was there too, and I had promised to show him some gameplay, so I went to nesguide.com and loaded up the airball gameplay video. Then my friend said to me that airball was his favorite nes game, so I asked him if he had the clear-cart repro from retrousb.com. He said no. I then asked him if the cart was black, he said he thought it was. Then I asked him if it had a normal label, or just a small paper label, he said it was small. I then immideately asked him what he did with it. He said that he SOLD IT TO A JUNK SHOP FOR TEN BUCKS! I then informed him that he used to have an airball proto, worth about $1000. He said he hated me. I asked him where he got it. He said that one of his older brother's friends worked with tengen to produce the game. I was amazed. I showed him multiple pictures of airball prototypes on the web and he said it looked pretty much exactly like the one below:

So was it the 5th copy of airball? No one knows. It could be the one in the pic above, or he could be just messing with me, but he has fond memories of the game, so I believe him that he owned a proto.
