After a fruitless garage sailin' day, I went to the local Gamestop to pick up some RPGs for their B2G1 sale. When I got to the counter, I was awed in bliss as my eyes laid their sight on those words!
"25% off all GB and GBC games and accessories" :love:
I asked the clerk how long and he said until the head execs say so. :love::love::love:
Naturally, I tried combining the 25% with my edge card plus their B2G1 sale to get as many as I get my hands. Alas, I couldn't have my cake and eat it too, it has to be either one or the other.
Dam execs trying to pinch every penny they can! :rockets:
GB and GBC are now are a low, low price at 25%! (35% with the edge card) :D

A few weeks ago, the rumor was 15% off, but only at stores that wished to do so.

I asked the clerk that question too, and he said it is for all stores. I can confirm because I've been to 6 Gamestops in my area and they all had the same 25% off sign.

I noticed this when I went to Gamespot too. Of course mine didnt really have any titles worth picking up. Well there was a Tiny Toons game...

Yeah, I picked up:
Dragon Warrior I & II (GBC) - $7.49
Shantae (GBC) - $2.79
These will be good games to play at the laundromat, which is the only place I ever play Game Boy Color...

Even though they don't sell new GBA games anymore, I can't see them getting rid of their used ones for a while. My guess is that they'll either go when they decide to stop selling Gamecube and Xbox, or they'll stick around for about a year after that.

I suspect they'll be around until Nintendo's portables no longer have backwards compatibility for them, and then some after that.
