How am I doing? I know it isn't nearly as many as most of you...

Just wanted to show it off! I've been collecting Atari for about 3 months now.

There are no doubles. The ones that I have two of are Sears and Atari versions.

Not bad :) Are they all loose?

When the opportunity arises, you'll want to upgrade a lot of the carts that you have now. A few of their labels are pretty shitty. That being said I'm impressed with how good a lot of your labels are.

I have many manuals as well, but no boxes.

Some labels are crap, yah, but many are shiny like new!

Nifty as a start. And although it is more difficult boxes are a million times better if you don't have a restriction of space. I sold off most of my VCS games because they're all loose and my 5200 gets far more play (and most of those games are CIB). Also, I realized most of my games were bland and truthfully there are only a few dozen games I really wanted so I'm better off buying those and having them in as great condition as possible CIB. Maybe you'll go this route or decide to buy bulks of loose carts and completing the ones you truly enjoy. There are plenty of options with that console so just enjoy what you find.

Some of the games that stand out from my personal experiences as favorites out of the bunch:
Fire Fighter, Combat, Enduro, Entombed, Space Invaders, Grand Prix, Adventure, Maze Craze, Barnstorming

So yes, you have some great games there.

I think thats a great idea. Concentrate on the games you actually want to play (or for some reason want to own, i.e. rarity), then try to find excellent and complete versions of those.

What I do when I start a new collection is just amass any that I can, then get better ones or boxes for them as I find them. I don't actively collect them... not going on ebay trying to find certain games. I just get them if I don't have them.
