I went to a flea market today and i scored FF7 AND RESIDENT EVIL 2 for ps1 both for only ........... $10.00!!!OMG!!! My dad wants me to sell it and i was just going to but it's like i have it for a week and then it's gone, I looked on ebay and it's going for about 70-80 dollars, which made it even more tempting.

But on the other hand if i don't sell it it'll be like the best thing I have in my collection yet far. And i'm thinking if i keep it will it go up or down in valuable price......... And if i keep it I'll think how i got it every time i see it..

Newbie collector with one of the greatest games in my hands......... What do i do?

Please Help!!

Play them.
Enjoy them.
Beat them.
Sell them.

Mostly in that order.

Two things:
1) there is no reason to feel rushed, and
2) play them before you sell them.

I'm not saying you have to beat them, but at least enjoy them for awhile.

Most people here will tell you that you should keep them, and I agree.

I vote for enjoy the hell out of them, and then sell or keep.

If you're not going to play them then just sell them. The longer you hold on to them the harder it will be to get rid of them. Why does your dad want you to sell them? Tell him to fuck off and eat one.

Kill your parents, blame it on Resident Evil, revel in the irony.

Here's what you do.....

1.Sell your entire collection
2.Find new hobby
3.Stop asking questions you already know the answer for

Thanks for the heads up. I've had a copy of FF7 collecting dust for several years, but it looks like that sucker's hitting eBay tomorrow afternoon.

Or, inversely, the greatest advice ever.

Here here.

I wish game collecting was still a 'niche' hobby.

Trade them for two copies of the ultra R@RE HTF Super Mario Brothers/Duck Hunt cartridge.

Sell FF7, you'll never finish that one anyway. Play RE2. Sell everything except RE2 since it's great. Go out and buy all the RE series, and never sell them.

Yeah, as if he'd be able to find two copies.

Sell both of them and get a SNES with FF4 and FF6 if you really want to play good Final Fantasy games.

Play them, sell them for an over-inflated price, then buy two more cheaper copies of them. Problem solved.

Sell em, keep em, jog down the middle of the highway while keeping the games pressed between your thighs... Who cares? Do something, anything! Approximately zero people will care, no matter what you 'decide' do.

It's people like this who excitedly scoop up the Mario and Final Fantasy games and leave something on the table. An $8 Panzer Dragoon Saga, a $5 Magical Chase or even a $12 Earthbound. The hills have eyes, yet they are blind. Not saying the OP did this, only that I have heard tales. :)

Is this even a real question, or you just bragging about your find? O_o

Sell em if you dont want em, keep em if you do!
