This is going to be a great time guys. I have already heard some chatter of some VERY nice items at the end of show auction.

Hmm, I might go to this, it's 4 hours from Cincy, and an easy drive. It'd be better with a carload, but I dunno if that would happen or not...

Good to see it was posted here. NA (Nintendo AGE) is hoping that this will "fill the void" that some people will have with CGE not going on this year.
If you need any other information, check the AGEexpo website, or you can check out www.nintendoage.com
I'm most likely going to attend... Apparently that NationalGamesDepot guy is going to do some sort of a strip show.

That is just what the world doesn't need to see Will. lol. We already have a few vendors lined up and are going to really hit the grind on tracking down more this week.

Yup, even I will be there. Then again, I'm only about 75-80 miles away, so it's pretty much required, no :P ? Besides, I don't exactly have the time or the resources to drive/fly to Vegas for CGE, so this will probably be as close as I get, unless I should go out west and stay at my grandmother's place (south of Phoenix) for a week or something. I'll be saving some major cash up, as well. As long as a CIB Myriad doesn't surface there, I should come back with quite a bit of it (pray for me on that, lol). I'll also bring a buddy of mine who probably hasn't seen 85-95% of what's out there...and I may end up bringing a couple more along.

I'd probably die of a heart attack if I actually saw one sitting there for sale (even if it was, say, $2500 or so...any more than that, and I'd probably breathe a sigh of relief, heh). I've never come face-to-face with a Myriad (but then again, how many of us have? maybe 50-75 of us total?)...I've only seen it in pics.

Yes, but therein lies a small problem... Unless I have a pair of high-powered binoculars and the expo center is situated on a hill overlooking the general direction in which the Myriad will lie, I won't be able to see it :P .

Looks like I am bringing 100 boxed spares for NES, a few protos, Game Boy boxed games, protos for that, and a bunch of other stuff as well. Should be fun for one day, but I might stay overnight the night before...

I think I'm booking my plane ticket tomorrow. I'm really starting to look forward to this. Everyone should try to make it!

Will you have any famicom stuff this time around? If so, bring it all down and I'll buy up whatever you have... :P

Dain over at NA has said they have several other vendors lined up, but they have not booked tables quite yet.

I hope there are more personally. The biggest factor for me going to MWGC was there were 10 vendors WHEN I signed up, and another 15 or so at least that showed.
Dr. Morbis: I'm not bringing any Famicom stuff, just boxed and loose NES games, Turbo games, XBOX, PS2 crap, protos, etc

3 more weeks!
We still need more vendors!
A big reason why you should consider showing up:
We have commercials running in Knoxville on Sci-Fi, Cartoon Network, G4, Comedy Central and Spike a whopping 387 times over two weeks leading up to the Expo, so if you're a vendor on the rails, you should really show up! Send me an email at info@ageexpo.com if you're interested.

Did we mention that Thor Auckland (The Nintendo World Champ) will be our guest of honor. This is his first appearance in over 15 years! That is alone is worth admission to meet a NES legend.

So how was the show people?
How were the exclusives?
How many people attended?
It is good to see a show like this, it looked to be alot of fun. Being the westcoast, I probably will never be able to go, but just was curious on all who attended.

There are a lot of threads over at NintendoAge talking about how it went (including a story-like thread [with pics] of my experience). Check it out.
