BTW, she was looking at XBox 360 titles.

I had a kid tell me back when it first came out, that the Game Genie would turn 8-bit NES games into at least 16-bit.

I had a friend in middle school who claimed to hack sonic and knuckles to put knuckles into ANY genesis game, he would talk at length about having him do fatalities in mortal combat. Or how he would always hit homeruns in baseball games and could fly instead of dive to catch a ball.

Man, I had to deal with the widescreen issue all the time when I worked at a video rental place. It was the bane of my existence back then. People just outright refused to believe that fullscreen cut some of the picture off. I would get this a lot, too, "I paid for a 40+ inch TV and I'm gonna use all of it!"

As for games, I've heard a lot of ignorant things before, but this one sticks in my mind the most. I was at a Game Stop, and a man came in with his young son, maybe 7 or so. The boy was looking at a copy of Sonic Mega Collection and asked his dad if he could buy it. The man said, "No, you already have all of those games on your N64."

Now... I can totally understand the guy not wanting to buy a compilation of games he already has. I can also understand him just saying something like that to put the kid off. But why in the world did he come up with the 64? O_o;

Not game related *technically* but I was at Radio Shack when a guy was asking if they had optical audio cables for his PS2 and the guy working their fought with him for 10 minutes about how optical cables are for VIDEO and NOT AUDIO... finally I intervened and handed the customer an audio cable lol
