I have some Sega Saturn units which could be used for development purposes. These devices have good (working) Power supply, Video, Audio, Gamepad port, and Cartridge port. However, the CD laser (or motor in some cases) is no longer functional.

I am thinking that these would still make good development units (or even spare parts) for some of the Saturn coders out there. I can sell these for $6 each (plus actual shipping cost), if anyone is interested. I currently have 4 units ready to go. I have a huge box of others (approx 40) to go through yet, to assess their operability.

Let me know anyone is interested.

Do you mean these are broken development Saturns that were used for testing games or just regular broken Saturns for parts? I'm kinda confused.

Sorry. These are regular Sega Saturns with non-working laser/motor.

A lot of people who do homebrew use the cartridge port to download their games, so the CD drive is not necessarily important.

Just to clarify:

These are USA Saturns which are fully functional EXCEPT for the laser/CD motor.

These are the core system only - No power cable, video cable, or gamepads are included.

The cost is $6 plus shipping. If in the USA, shipping will be $10. The box will weigh approx. 4 pounds.
