Zaku is a huge, lightning-fast game full of beautiful graphics and devious enemies that adapt to your unique playing style. Created with the aid of an official Lynx development kit, Zaku is not only quick and pretty but made up of clean, concise code. It's a defining game for the Lynx that you're sure to enjoy.
Currently, Zaku is in development, having been introduced to the public in France at last year's Retro-gaming Connexion. If you like what you see and want to be kept up-to-date with the game's progress, you are invited to join our mailing list.

You mean that people actually use all that debug units they have for what they are meant to be used for, developing games? When did this happen?
Just Kidding, as it is nice to see dev kits getting used for dev instead of sitting on a shelf. The game looks pretty nice too.

Nice. I like portable systems!
Wait, are you telling that not everybody use RAM cartridges for display demonstrations or developing new contend !?

I visit the games site often and am VERY interested in seeing it in motion as well. It really looks like a great Air-Zonk inspired shooter and that certainly can't be a bad thing!!!
Good luck with the rest of development!

A video will be available at some point, but not until we can be certain it very closely reflects how the final product will look and feel. For now, I'd recommend joining the Zaku mailing list (by clicking on the "buy the game" link @ zaku-lynx.com (http://www.zaku-lynx.com/)) so that you're directly notified of any news bits we release, as we release them.

Since we're a company that's seriously focused on bringing only the best possible products to the classic gaming market, we make extensive use of professional development hardware and software.
Good luck with the rest of development!
Thank-you, it's going very well.

One of the programs over at the atari forum said that he was inspired by Air Zonk. Definitely a good thing :rocker:

Thanks for the positive comments, everyone. I'm glad you are pleased with the way this game is shaping up. :)
While the creator of Zaku was indeed inspired by Air Zonk, it should be noted that Zaku contains 100% new and original content (graphics, sound, music, story, gameplay, etc.) - and yes, it will be published on a very high-quality game card when finished.
