I just found out that that E-Reader is only coming out in Japan,it is just the US one in Japan.

The SD adapter could be worth it if Nintendo got rid of the old 127 files limit. Otherwise a large SD card like 128MB or even the 256MB would be "full" long before it's even half used. Of course if you're primarily sports fan, you could get a 1GB card (supposedly coming soon) and not reach the 127 file limit at all.
I'm not holding my breath on the eReader though.
