Quick question about GBC Defender/Joust

I've googled everywhere and haven't been able to specifically get my question answered.

I remember Joust for the Lynx having a scrolling playfield because it was too much for the tiny screen. What about the GBC port? Is everything on one screen or does it scroll also?

It's all on one tiny screen. But despite that it looks a great deal like the arcade game.

The classic games just look to damn small for the portable systems. At least for me.
