I have a Top Loader NES that isn't producing any sound. Works great, but according to Kamino, he says the internal RF box has blown out and it would be best to mod it with some AV.

Who does this these days? What's price to do that?

Can you explain what a "Top Loader NES" is?

Does the AV mod actually help remove the vertical 'banding' you see when playing games on the top loader? Or is that a shielding issue?

I'll say,it helps the composite video a lot (close as the front loader NES video output),when doing good circuitry A/V modding connections.

If you do the mod correctly, the lines disappear 100%.

The question is, who can get the mod done so the lines are 100% gone and for how much?
