any advice on getting negative feedback off of account

I have been selling on ebay for almost nine years. I have made alot of mistakes and have learned alot from working with public abroad. Is there any way I can get some of my negative feedback which came from people who are no longer registered with ebay taken off my account. How about other feedback? Just curious. Thanks, John

Someone else can chime in here, but I believe since the new changes, negative feedback from unregistered sellers do not count towards your actual feedback rating.

As for others, there is a certain period for removal. 90 days maybe? If you left them a neg as well, just file and they'll probally either accept, or not reply. Either way it will get removed.

Negative or neutral Feedback left by currently suspended members will be removed beginning in May 2008.As for the negs you received from non-suspended users, you're out of luck there. If it happened recently, you can try a Mutual Feedback Removal, but a lot of users don't accept those. Also, the MFR process and Squaretrade feedback removal will be given the boot soon, whenever the feedback rules go into effect (I've heard a number of dates, most popular being May 18. I think they're intentionally giving a vague date until it happens).

It's only a few negs, though. Feedback isn't as important as it used to be. The important numbers now are the Detailed Seller Report stars, which is the qualifying factor for sales and Powerseller eligibility.
