how come whenever i send a letter to my animal friends, no matter what i write they always respond by saying they don't understand my letters and I should make them simpler? Is there some kind of special code that i should use? x_x

kg (y-bot's animal crossing addicted gf)

I'm just starting in AC, but I have written letters and haven't had anyone say they couldn't read them. Keep 'em REAL simple, like Kindergarten simple. There are other people here that are Crossing Veterans that will know better, though. This is just the approach I took.

Yep something simple usually works. They have a hard time understanding much of anything. Usually something like,

Hello Kiki,

How are you? I like you. Here is a present for you.

Your friend,
XXX

Simple stuff like that, and they might understand it. Once you get a form that they do understand just use it all the time, unless you really like typing out long letters. Attaching junk as a present usually gets atleast a happy response too, and you might even get something back.

Simple.
3 Lines.
Proper English.
Proper Punctuation.
Add a Gift.

Chances are, if you add a good gift, they won't notice the text and say they loved it anyhow.

Send them integrals of multivariable polynomial expressions containing lots of trigonometric functions. They love that.
