I'd say that the Timesplitters series is more of a sequel to Goldeneye 64, even if it's only in a spiritual sense. (Same core development team that developed Goldeneye 64 for RARE.)

Anybody who loved Goldeneye 64 and has never played the Timesplitters series owes it to themselves to check those out. (Yes, I know some people absolutely hate them, but people who can see the near-endless similarities usually hold them in very high regard.)

Skies of Arcadia was so fucking awesome it needs a sequel. I want more of Vyse, Aika and Fina.

Jet Set Radio, I'm totally for it. A sequel for the original Grandia would be epic, it's probably my favorite RPG. Can't get enough of Justin and Feena.

The only others I can think of right now are the CV Aria and Dawn games, I love the soul system and Soma kicks ass, and a proper sequel to Phoenix Wright. No, I don't like Apollo.

Here are some of my most wanted sequels that'll never happen:

-Sonic the Hedgehog 4. A real 2D/3D sequel to Sonic 3. Although there have been plenty of newer Sonic games like Sonic Heroes and Unleashed, there hasn't been an official Sonic 4 yet.

-Crazy Taxi 4. CT 3 was more of CT 1 and 2 combined with a new level thrown in for good measure. A true sequel with levels new and old, and old and new cabbies would surely make for an awesome experience. Add that with great graphics from the Xbox 360/PS3, and you have a winner here...oh, and don't forget that online leaderboards would be great, too!

-A sequel to WWF No Mercy. What I mean is AKI/Jakks Pacific developing another wrestling game with the same engine as WWF No Mercy. Def Jam Vendetta does not count, as even though it has elements of the No Mercy engine in it, it's obviously not a sequel. Here's hoping that the rumored "WWE No Mercy" WiiWare semi-sequel is true.

-Rallisport Challenge 3. The second game was one of the best rally games I have ever played. The only rally game currently on the 360 is Dirt, and that's an excellent title. I think Microsoft is really missing a chance here, Rallisport 3 on the 360 would be awesome. :)

-Black 2. A sequel to the really good shooter game made by Criterion Games. Criterion is so heavily focused on the Burnout franchise at the moment that a Black 2 would probably not even happen in the near future.

Stop me if you've heard this Frankie, but SNSM did have a sequel. It was called Muscle Bomber Duo - Ultimate Team Battle and it was arcade only. Punchout was set to have a nes sequel, developed by a third party, but the results were so poor that Nintendo told them to keep it. The result was Power Punch 2, which does suck more than a little.

I'd love to see sequels/remakes/MOAR of Kid Chameleon, Monster Party, Gargoyle's Quest, E.T. (make it even shittier this time!) Smash TV 3, Super Mario Land, Puzzle and Action Tant/Ichidant-R, I'll put in another vote for MvsC3, and Haunted except maybe not starring Polterguy, or at least not his flattop, or maybe featuring Kid n Play to put it in context.

But if I could really dream, like Make a Wish Foundation dream, I would pick a 2D Mega-Man game that has a more Contra-like control, while also mixing in a heavy dose of Castlevania A/DoS-esque exp. upgrades and soul stealing. Okay, robots don't have souls, but you get the idea. Imagine a Mega Man game where you could get any robot's weapon ala Kirby's Adventure but taken to the next level. Mmmmm....
