"The yellow sticker is the price."I say this at least once a day, though what seems like a pretty obvious thing to me is often lost amongst my customers. I'm too stubborn to add the actual dollar sign...

You could always save yourself from having to put in the dollar sign every time by affixing a sticker to the machine itself. "Yellow sticker = price." Of course then the people who still ask for the #13 Super Mario Land will probably be even more annoying.

I second on the sign idea, however in this day and age common sense is against us all. Nice to know the story behind that thing, i think it is so cool.

To be fair to the people who inquire about the stickers once, the pricetags on everything else in the store is uniform so seeing a small yellow circle with a number on it might not "click" right away. This is especially true since it's not that uncommon to see things actually numbered behind glass cases.
Is that Sean Kelly you're talking about? Give him my greetings when you see him, please, haven't talked to him for ages.
