I have a guy that wants to sell me a European PS2 with a 220V cord and all the hook-ups for $35 bucks. I really dont need it but Dont have a Euro Ps2 in my collection. Is there really any difference or demand for these??

I have a spare transformer that you could use to power it here stateside (though it's very heavy...about 4 pounds, so shipping might be a good bit). Or, if you didn't want it, and it had the controller with it, I'd take it in a trade...
