Hoo boy. If people accused Beatmania of being a Guitar Hero ripoff, then this isn't going to fare well. Too bad they didn't have the sense to try this, oh, 6 years ago.

And I'm just as surprised as everyone else that it isn't a straight Guitar Freaks/Drummania port.

too little, too late. harmonix/mtv have the music industry connections and guitar hero has 'em beaten on brand recognition.

odd that they're going to appear to be imitators in a genre they pioneered.

Guarantee this one is gonna be passed over. That's sad, since Konami basically started the genre.

I find the title humorous. I bet the person who thought that one up spent less than 5 minutes doing so.

People actually thought Beatmania was a GH rip-off?? Ugh.

Being a Bemani game, I'll still check it out on principle. Aside from the extra drum pads though, I don't see what else they can do to set it apart from GH/RB. Maybe lots of J-pop/rock?

Did anyone take a look at the screenshots? My god, the game looks terrible. As if we didn't have enough entries in the "play fake instruments and pretend it's actually a skill or like the real thing" genre.
