These things make me drool....and daydream...and then slam into parked cars!

Pics are still up on original sites, so I'll link to them respectively. These are different pics than the ones widely circulated on <insert major vg media site here>.

NDEV with red RVT-H (site's in Chinese, lo siento!) (http://bbs.wiichina.com/read.php?tid=7211&fpage=0&toread=&page=1)

NDEV assumedly running Sadness (http://www.destructoid.com/a-little-bit-of-sadness-makes-me-happy-28653.phtml)

And a nifty prototype (or possible mockup) Wiimote if you haven't seen it already. I can't find the original IGN article, so here ya go:

The first "dev kit" for the revolution was a "wii-mote" that plugged into a gamecube...

Actually your info led me on a pretty long search to find pics/proof, and I ended up at the article where that IGN pic above was shown.

These preliminary kits include only a wired Revolution controller, a wired nunchuck attachment and a wired motion bar, which some studios have labeled the "wand." So the obvious question is, how can developers possibly hope to test any of this gear out? The answer is simple: the controller and its attachments plug into existing GameCube development hardware.

Cheers!

The "sdk" consisted of a sheet of paper that told developers to use the gamecube programming kit 'cause the revolution would almost be code compatable. It also had some technical details on performance increases between the revolution and the GC, but overall it was pretty ghetto.

He's right, I've personally used one. It was an old Dolphin kit with a very bland prototype Wii remote as the controller. Photos were not allowed!

Oh, and they were ordered to be sent back before you could get your full revolution kit, so i'd be sorta suprised if one shows up on ebay...

That makes sense. Thanks for the info and first-hand history, guys.

Cheers!
