SNES 2 AC adapter

I had a SNES 2 laying around, which I may put to use soon. However, I am missing the AC adapter that came with it. It says on the bottom to use the SNES-002 model only. Is this more Nintendo mumbo jumbo...is there a similar thing I can use from radioshack, or just use a regular SNES AC adapter?

There's only one...SNS-002 is the regular SNES AC adapter.

They look identical externally, I've used a model 1 adapter on my model 2 SuperNes to test it a couple times without any negative effects (Otherwise stays in its box brand new, waiting for a day that hopefully never comes when it replaces my original).

I just assumed they were identical, maybe its not such a smart idea. They look identical externally, but I've never checked what the AC adapters output and what each system is looking for.

Fortunately, the SNES is one of the instances where they didn't mess around and change the power supply, unlike the Genesis which uses three different ones.
