Hi Folks,
I recently picked up 2 Snes carts both had just white labels, both marked Final Version. the games are Earthbound and Mario Allstars!! (as if the headline wasn't a give away!! )
After opening them both up i found they where both eprom boards loaded with loads of nice chips!!
Now just out of interest is the earthbound cart worth much, also i'm a collector of all things snes, and won't be parting with them any time soon..... Just interested in there value...
Any help or a reply is greatly appreciated!! cheers...

Believe it or not, folks, first party Nintendo protos are not at all uncommon in Europe. They're literally impossible to find here in the U.S., but Nintendo of Europe was a little more lenient in loaning these out. I've gone through three (!) first party NES protos, all from Europe, all final NTSC versions, and I know of one other too.
As far as some kind of monetary "value," well, that's not really my forte. And it's impossible to tell, as nothing of that magnitude has been sold before. I'd guess, though, that you would get at the very LEAST $300 each.

I have alittle bit of info, a guy i was talking to mentioned to me!! that alot of the snes and nintendo Magazines (in the UK) namely SuperPlay - the best snes mag there was) NMS, SnesZone and a whole host of other and lesser mags, got these Final Version carts to do reviews and previews of up coming games.
With the US snes oweners getting these games 3 to 5 months earlier then the Snes owners in and around europe (england mainly).
So these mags would get these carts (finals) before the release of the US versions, meaning they had exclusives and would give info on these up and coming games...
Also alot of the reviewers, did make mention that the review was from a US or jap cart and little things my be different i.e -- the game name!! character names etc etc..
I have heard in the UK of people selling small collections of games (saying they worked for a games mag at some point. thus the release of these games to the public, but since some of these mags are rapped up and no longer around they (the people that have kept these carts) see no reason in just off loading.)
Hope that also shines alittle light on the subject, but lately i have heard more and more people have these carts!!!
Also i have a question!!!! Is Snes Metal Warriors!! anything to do with cybernator!?!?!?!?!?!?
Again thanks for the replys!!

metal warriors is also a mecha sidescroller very similar to cybernator, but
its a different game.personally i like cybernator better, the design is cooler and the whole story and stuff is better...
front mission gun hazard is even better, try it if you havent already.
unfortunaly it was only released in japan and i had no exact idea of the story but it was great fun anyway.hope gideon zhi can finish his english patch soon :>
oh,sorry for diggin up such an old thread, but could you please repost the hires scans of your allstars and earthbound sample?
i deleted them unfortunately
