OK, I know this subject was on the table a year and a half ago, when the supplies were drying up... I remember a topic from the old EZ Board listing a source that had a clutch of them. I'm sure that particular source dried up long ago... but does anyone know of any other places I could get this game (other than the obvious answer of eBay--which of course I am checking periodically)? Is it worth it? I know it didn't work on certain DVD players due to some glitch... I've just gotten a Samsung N501, will it work on that? If not, then the point is moot.

It's not that I'm hell-bent on collecting Nuon, but I didn't previously have a DVD player, and I thought, well, as long as I'm getting a DVD player, I might as well get one that plays Nuon while I'm at it. I haven't even played it yet (I just got Tempest 3000 and Freefall 3050 AD). I think after I get Merlin Racing I'll be set. Iron Soldier 3 would be cool, but not over-$50 cool. Which I'm sure it probably is.

It WILL work on a Samsung N501 but it's incredibly difficult to find. The rarity list at Digital Press needs some updating - I've been hunting for one for another guy for 6 months and haven't seen one go for less than $75, and I've only seen it on eBay twice in that time period!

You're not missing too much. It's almost exactly the same as the PlayStation game. A little better graphics, EXACT SAME game engine.

Then I shan't worry about it. I really didn't want it that much. If I happen to see it for cheap somewhere, great. If not, I won't lose any sleep over it.

Thanks as always, Joe!

Hi,
The source your referring to was the distributer and they didn't exactly have a clutch of them. I called him up to place an order and I told him I wanted ten, he said he only had two left and I took them both. I asked him how many he did have and he said he only had 15 to sell originally. The only stores it was ever sent to AFAIK was Worst Buy and I never saw a copy in a Worst Buy. Only a trickle got out to stores. I have two sealed copies. It would be over $50.

@Zaxxon,

Yeah, I remember that it wasn't that many and they seemed to go quick. Excellent score. You'll get quite a bit on eBay if and when you decide to unload them.

A-ha! Remember my Spidey 32x vs. IS3 thread from the old EZBoard days? About how I thought it was vastly underpriced and such... :P

I finally broke down and (since I realized that I didn't care about it) sold my sealed IS3 on eBay for $152.50 a couple months ago to some guy in Italy. I saw another guy sell his right after mine (guess he saw how much mine went for) and he netted about $140.
