I have a broken PSone

I have a broken PS1 system that I bought at a flea market about a month ago. It turns on (I see a little red light coming out of the lens thing inside of the disk area) however, I dont see the power light coming on. I have tried putting a game in, but nothing appears on the tv. It is not the A/V cable, because it is a universal one I use on my GameCube.

Any way to fix this or sites with help?

The main circuit board is not working properly if you are not getting a green light at power on.

My first guess is botched mod attempt, damaged main circuit board. If my guess is right, it's likely not a fixer, but a parter outer.

Uhhh, any pics? I got it for only $3 so no big loss if it is broken beyond repair. May make a cool lunchbox.
