View Full Version : Looking for Dreamcast Shells/Cases
Hey guys,
Looking for some dreamcast shells, look like these.

they used to be real common and super cheap but now I can't seem too find anywhere that sells them cept some guy on ebay for like 100 bucks :( Anyone know a site/place where I can find one?

I have one, not sure what color, but they are impossible to find anymore. Probably worth what he's charging, or close to it.

I have one and would say that they're pretty good quality. Not cheapo plastic like some kind of Famiclone would be made of something. The translucency is a little bit cloudy, which indicates a lower grade of plastic, but it doesn't seem to damage easily at least.
Sega released official replacement shells in Japan that are higher quality, but they only replace the top half of the shell, leaving you with a two-tone Dreamcast. They still look pretty nice, though. That way it also matches the two-tone millenium controllers they released.

yeah they were only top half :(
apparently ncsx got some just recently one-time-only and they were cheapo too :( I missed it damn...

I'd certainly be very interested in a black one, especially glossy/piano black. Even if it was only the top half of the shell.

the only official replacement i saw was yellow >< dunno if theres a black one or not ;p
