I have a copy of star tropics, the box is pretty beat up, but the contents are immaculate.

and the letter you are talking about appears to be glued to the manual...so it's there.

I also have a spare copy of that one. It is complete. The only defect would be a crease in the front of the box. Everthing else is MINT. The letter is still attached to the manual and has not been unfolded.
