I have a poster that was inside TMNT IV for the SNES and on one side it has ads for Konami games like Gradius 3 and Castlevania 4 and in the bottom coner it says "Battle Alert: Contra IV for Super NES is headed for your neighborhood"
What happened? Anybody know why this game was never released?

It's Contra III.
When they were calling it Contra IV, they were going off that Operation C on Gameboy was Contra III.
