Hello, nice place around :)

my question is simple: I have a PAL genesis/32X.

I live in Belgium (PAL region) and I want to buy/play Eternal Champion Dark Side and Colibri. (wierd heh? ;))

I can't find Eternal Champion Dark Side PAL. Is it that rare?

my question is "will a PAL 32X work on a NTSC genesis"?

If YES. I will simply buy a NTSC genesis/CD and be able to play all PAL and NTSC games right?

I'm actually not sure how PAL and NTSC integrate for 32X, but I would point out that Eternal Champions: Challenge from the Darkside only requires the Sega CD. Sega CD NTSC boot screens differ from other regions because of the Genesis/Mega Drive discrepencies and many people talk about using cheat cartridges to play imported games, so I do believe there are region locks at work. You'll have to get an answer from someone else here as while I import games, I don't typically follow imported systems.

My understanding is pal 32x will work on ntsc genesis however only ntsc games will play on it. i believe all of the region lock features are built into the genesis itself. likewise with the reverse ntsc 32x on a pal megadrive will only let you play pal games. then again im only 90% sure of this if someone wants to top off that extra 10% that would be cool.

I know that a 32X doesn't have a "region", it simply goes off of whatever system it is plugged into. I had a US 32X that would show the "Super 32X" screen when I switched my system to JP mode.

As far as PAL and NTSC...I'm not 100% sure on that.

But if you got a US Genesis+SCD you shouldn't have any problems playing Eternal Champions.
