I just picked up a sega cd and im having a couple problems with it. First of all, i was starting up sonic cd and got a message saying the internal ram was full so i wouldnt be given a save option in the game. but then it wont let me start the game period. should i look at getting a ram cart or is there a way to clear up the internal ram? secondly, the colors are all wonky. i discovered they would go back to normal if i disconnected my 32x, but i have a copy of corpse killer thats cd32x so what can i do about that? and lastly, any controller i use when the cd is hooked up is sort of sluggish and non responsive. ive tried multiple controllers but none seem to work very well. or they work fine at first, but then just stop. any help would be greatly appreciated

so apparently my controllers just hate me. the 5th one i tried worked fine which allowed me to get to the memory menu and free up some space. so the only problem im still having is with the colours on my 32x.

you know my genesis setup had the color issue too. opened and cleaned each system seperately, gave up on rf and went with composite and its all better. the one thing you might want to check is the video interconnect from the genesis to the 32x. also the 32x inherently is a very rf noisy system it had some trouble getting past the fcc guidelines in the early development stages if i'm correct. Id say clean the interconnects between the various systems. Failing that try getting a composite av cable if you dont already have one (either way itll look much better) and lastly the video interconnect cable between the genesis and 32x. hopefully one of those will solve the problem.

What connection are you using from the 32X output to your TV?.....
Do you have the official power supplies?

yeah im already using a composite cable and all the power supplies are official. i took everything apart and put it back together and after the 3rd or 4th time, everything was perfectly fine. sooo yeah...problem solved i guess. but i dont see why that didnt work the first few times. electronics and just dont always get along. anyways thanks for the help
