I recently came across something called a KISADO ADAPTER for the turbo cd and I don't know what it does. If anyone knows what it does could you please let me know. Also does anyone know how many different cd cards there are for the system? Thanks in advance for the help.

It's not for the CDs at all. It's for the Hu-cards. It will let you play the Japanese cards on teh US system.

A kisado typically will run you around $100 too...not cheap...but it's the best PCE converter out there!
As for System cards, there are 3, System 1, System 2, and System 3. You NEED a System 3 card to play Super CD-ROM2 games (the pink spined ones).
