Hi, where do you purchase your issues at? I live in chicago and the only place I notice them at are at barnes and noble but they are sold out of issue 50 and I cant find it anywhere else.

Would anyone have that issue for sale?

The ONLY places I have seen Retro Gamer for sale is Barns and Nobles and Borders Books and each month they only stock like 3 issues. I stop by each store the last and first weekend of each month and I always seem to get a copy.

Same here in NJ. I've seen them sometimes in the Barnes and Nobles in the Clifton Commons. It seems like they only carry only two copies at a time :). It's either that or order the mag online.

Here in Ottawa, I get my copy at a little independent magazine store called Maison de la Presse. We Canadians can also find copies at Chapters, but in all cases they have very few copies on the shelf; never more than two or three...

My local Microcenter store is usually a couple months behind, issue-wise. I usually have to hit several Barnes & Noble locations just to find the latest copy. Some stores get it in, then the next month they don't bother. It's pretty hit-and-miss around here.

Great magazine and because it is retro I don't mind not having the current issue. The price is abysmal though. I rarely pick up the mag. It's $11.99 an issue at Microcenter, and to subscribe online (to US) is $155.00+; by comparison you can get a subscription to 'Edge' magazine for about half that...

In eastern Canada the only place I've seen it is at Chapters, and I've only seen it there once :(

Issue 51 is great, I just wish I had more. Issue 51 is recent, so I'm hoping that means they're going to make it a regular thing. Either that or they only order a few copies and it gets picked up fast.

I order it yearly (yeah, $150/yr) but it is for 13 issues, not 12, so it's about the same as on the newsstand.
