Yet another reason I hate to sell on Ebay..

Guy sends me a money order for a cart. The day I got the money order I get this e-mail..

"didn't you receive my money order yet?

it was sent april 23, the day after i got the checkout from e-bay

i should of received the cartridge by now

Why is it taking so long?

Are you trying to scam me?

what's the tracking # ?

Ok, so first this guy thinks he is getting tracking when it isn't stated in the auction. next, the letter with his money order is postmarked the 25th not the 23rd. And lastly, the auction just ended!! Why would anyone think they would get the cart that quick?

This is the kind of thing that is going to stop me from leaving positive feedbacks once I get payment and wait until they get the item in their stupid little hands..

That's why I usually avoid auctions where the seller does'nt take PayPal if I want the item quickly. :-D

I almost always wait until the buyer leaves me feedback anymore. I made the mistake recently of not waiting and I got a neutral out of it. Stupid buyer paypals me payment for the final bid amount without waiting to find out how much shipping is. Then has the nerve to leave me a neutral and only says "Good Communication". What a dope!

I think the mail has been abnormally slow lately...It took nearly two weeks to get a money order from SC to NYC. It's taken a month to get a card to Canada (still hasn't shown up yet). A month ago it was lightening fast.... :/

well, if they paid on time, then they did their part, and deserve a positive...it's unfortunate they they screwed you with a neutral though :/

i'm more fustrated with people that don't leave me feedback at all, esp after I take the time to leave it for them.

As a Canadian seller I get this all the time. About 99% of my buyers are from the States and these buyers are very quick to send rude letters such as the one above demanding to know where the item is. It is very frustrating. I don't mind the questions. I understand that not all buyers have made internaitonal purchashes before and forget about things like customs. What I do mind is the tone of the letter. So many people come out assuming you are going to rip them off. It's like being an eBay seller has become equated to being a used car salesman

Yeah, I had a package take 2 weeks to get from Indianapolis to Troy, Michigan. Hell, I could have driven it there myself. Luckily, the buyer was very cool about it.

Uh, I'm not sure where you got this little factoid, but I think you're way off. If United Parcel Service and the United States Postal Service had indeed merged, the news would've been plastered with this announcement. Unless I missed something someplace?......

Well, I STILL know it takes FOREVER to get anything to and fro Canada and the United States. How long do those packaages stay in custom.....three weeks???? We don't even hold packages going to Iran for that long! :-D

I just today got some Odyssey 2 games from Brazil (4 week wait), and I'm still awaiting a heap of DVDs and CDs from New Zealand (2 month wait - so far). >:(
