How hard and where might one find the Ranma 1/2 game for the playstation. I remember reading Gamefan and one of the ads in the back advertising the game for sale through importing means. Anyone know any more info?
I'm going to guess you'll have a hard time tracking it down.
1) It came out early in the Playstation's life - so fewer copies produced because there weren't that many systems out there.
2) It was reputedly a pretty bad game
3) At the time it was released (1996? or so) Ranma had been off the air in Japan for years - and Japan is not a forgiving place for "yesterday's news". The license was essentially dead = fewer sales = fewer around to buy today.
Unless you're a completist and MUST have the playstation version, I'd recommend tracking down one of the Super Famicom games, which were pretty good and should be much more common.

The game is awful. I bought a copy on EBay way back, and received a burned disc (but the FBI got that guy. HA! Take THAT, asshole!). Trust me, the graphics are pretty decent, but the game itself is absolutely fucking terrible. It will only taint the ranma series your mind (I know it did in mine). Seriously, just don't fucking bother.

Oh don't worry, quality wise I was expecting DBZ: Ultimate Battle gameplay. Blegh.
however I do love the series and would get the game merely because I want everything from the series. Thank you for the help. Now to the rebuilding boards for help with a broken PSX I got for free... heh
