Scrolling Controllers

I have this problem with controllers and I would like to know how to fix it. The d-pad/or stick seems to get stuck in some screens in some games and just keeps moving like you are holding the it in one direction but you aren't. This has happened to me with 2 GC controllers and now my PS2 controller is doing it. Any way to fix this?

Well I managed to fix the problem to my PS2. Seems the problem was my GH reciever been pluged into the second controller port. I took it out and now it works fine!

That happens to me every so often in some games. I usually just rotate the analog stick a few times to get it working again.

This can also happen if you have the analog sticks held in a direction on boot up. Keep it neutral until you are using it ingame.
