Hey Rick, glad you liked his new and improved site. It is way smoother than the old one. The pop-up cart labels are a nice touch as well. Very easy to navigate and order.

Also got the error 999 so I popped open Internet Explorer 7 to see if it was a Mozilla/Firefox thing. The site opened fine. Tried it again on Firefox and it worked fine so I'm wondering if there aren't some communication issues.

Are these safe people to deal with? They have a really bad reputation at AtariAge it seems when it comes to IP infringement.

Great!! Hozer games were my intro to buying hacks and homebrews back in 2000 or so. I got lots of those black and white labled games like Doomzerk, Pac-Invaders,Fat-Man, etc... I was sad to see Hozer left the scene some years back. Glad they are BACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I can vouch for Hozer as a good place to get the Starpath Supercharger collection on CD, which I've enjoyed quite a bit.

Edit: in light of earlier comments in the thread, I should point out that Hozer is fully authorized to distribute said Starpath compilation. Also, re: those earlier comments, consider the source.

Uh. Atari Charles has started up a ton of drama over at AtariAge and here. That's all I'm going to say. :P

Well the big deal around AtariAge was them allegedly making and selling things like homebrews and hacks the community has done without seeking permission.

I'm not talking about someone burning Combat to a eprom and selling it for a couple of bucks. I don't know the truthfulness to the charges which was why I was asked, but I wouldn't want to deal with a company guilty of that if true.

Most all of us are guilty of it in one way or another, but not many of us would consider ripping off a fellow forum user and member of this community by reproducing and selling something of theirs we knew we didn't have permission to.

Lots of threads at AA over the years like this one.
