I checked three Blockbusters and haven't been able to find a copy yet. I'll keep looking.

I got mine on Monday. How long has it been? A year an a half. I should get the next one in 2011 then. I won't be resubscribing after that issue though because they are way too unprofessional with being obviously dead and unable to be reached and then surprising us out of the blue. I can tolerate lateness, but I had written them off for dead and being screwed over long ago...I wonder how the hell they found anyone to advertise in their mags.
Anyway, did anyone read the back cover? Graded sealed games for wild prices? I know all the hobbies are like this now, but who seriously can afford to collect like that? And who would they show it off to that would actually be impressed or care? Seriously, a graded NES Max joypad for $100.00 and a Video Game Perserver for $75.00 is just going too far. If those prices are real, I should consider getting my sealed junk graded and pawning it off on ebay...

I too will have to heavily think on resubscribing. There are other issues besides the lateness and inability to be reached, including editorial and content issues that I personally don't really connect with completely. I understand the difficulties in creating and publishing a magazine with budgets and deadlines and I respect those responsible for this effort. I will contact them personally with comments and suggestions to consider for future issues as I would with any other magazine. Letters to the Editor are always welcome, right?

Would someone who has a copy tell me who the publisher is?

Got mine, and I really enjoyed it. My only complaint is I want more retro centric material. I know that Dreamcast, and Playstation are old enough, but more of the classics. Great magazine though, and a publication I am proud to show off.

That is somewhat or a mystery. The publisher is either Shawn Paul Jones or the Prince of Darkness. Personally, I think it is the latter.

I still haven't been able to locate a copy and theres no way I'm going the subscription route again. I need to find another chain store(besides Blockbusters) that sell these, if there are any.

you cant hold a DIY publication to the same standards of a corporate-published magazine. computers have narrowed the gap in terms of presentation, but content wise, enthusiast magazines like video game collector are no different than the xeroxed 'zines' from the 80's and 90's. that content is what makes them readable, the writers have genuine interest and intimate knowlege of the subject matter.
enjoy the magazine for what it is, and if you dont like it, make one yourself that's better

i also never received issue #10 (it was to be the last issue in my subscription). i tried to contact them multiple times, but i eventually just bought it from the digital press store. very poor customer service. actually no customer service for over a year! they get an F- from me. sad too, cuz i liked the mag, but there is no excuse for the way they've handled things. none.

I was surprised to get my copy about a week ago. I really hope(again) that they get everything worked out. I do find it odd that they didn't explain the problem.
Lets hope everything is fixed. I think if they can get the next 3-4 issues out on time, they are back.

Has anyone seen #11 at Blockbuster yet? I checked a couple stores last week but couldn't find any. I just assumed they stopped selling them.

I just checked but BB was recieving a shipment late. I will check again this week. So far I have not seen any. I wish the mag well, but like many others, I just resort to buying one issue at a time for now.
