Why is the Tomy Tutor ignored on most game sites? Digital Press, GameFaqs, and others have seemed to dismiss this cart based 80's system. Why is this?

We're getting to that one! Also on our plate: Dragon32 and IBM PCjr.

Isn't it because it's really a home computer and not a game console.

Wrong answer, at least as far as we're concerned. See: Commodore 64, TI-99/4A, VIC-20, Atari "XE", Aquarius... all cart-based systems on our list.

I have lists for Tomy Tutor & IBM PC Jr that might help, though there are at least a couple websites with about all the info on the Tomy Tutor (or Pyuuta as it's known in Japan) you'd need. Section editors can contact me if they'd like.
Sorry if I'm veering off the subject, but the topic of an IBM PCjr list was discussed here:

And Joe, that wouldn't happen to be Greg's PCjr you're getting, would it? I'm still sad I wasn't able to go pick that up.

I mailed my tutor off to Mr. Hardie. It was complete with joystickk, tape drive, and boxed games...
I just didn't think of it as a collectable at the time. So I vote that it should not be included in the guide for the possiblity of giving me traders remorse.
