I couldn't find a thread dedicated to this using the search feature, so I decided to create a new one.

Does anyone recall the mailaway items that Takara advertised in gaming magazines during the height of the 16-bit era? I remember that for ports of Fatal Fury you could mail the company a stamped envelope, and they would mail you back a little rubber Fatal Fury action figure. And for the 16-bit ports of King of the Monsters, you could receive a free book cover in the mail. I never took advantage of these offers, but did anyone here get them? If so, pictures? Thanks!

You're half a year too late.

BuyAtari bought a lot off of me form eBay that had a LOT of the pvc figures and a LOT of the catalogs / membership cards, etc.

I think I still have a complete set somewhere around here.

I had the FF2 Wolfgang Krauser figure which several years ago helped me turn into Street Fighter Collection (Saturn) in a trade online :)

I certainly remember the Takara give-aways. I also got a key-chain from them in the KOTM2 giveaway. Nice little fan promotion.

Ah, that's okay. They'd be nice to have, but I'm also really interested in just seeing pictures of what all the goodies looked like. :)

If for some reason you do end up getting rid of the set of figures, let me know. :)

Knowing BuyAtari, he'll probably post pictures of them eventually. Or maybe if we ask nicely.

There was also a Samurai Shodown bookcover mail-away offer.
